School of Management Studies (SOMS) offer Doctoral Degree in Commerce i.e. Doctor of Philosophy in Commerce (PhD in Commerce)
The Doctoral Studies Programme aims at training professionals and teachers in the skills and competences related to the systematic investigation of various issues and problems in the area of their study. At this level, the study is expected to provide new and original insights into the problem or the area under investigation.
Note: The PhD programme of IGNOU can be pursued by those who possess an MPhil Degree or five years of teaching/ industry/ administrative/professional experience at senior level.
Doctor of Philosophy in Commerce (PhD in Commerce)
Minimum Duration: 2 Years
Maximum Duration: 5 Years
Minimum Age: No bar
Maximum Age: No bar
Applications for admission to the PhD programme may be submitted on the prescribed form along with a research proposal on a selected theme for thesis work at any time of the academic year
